Tuna upgrade ?

Post by WESKUSKLONG »

I have to say good bye  to my "platkar "(BMW 320D) due to the fact that the family is getting to big. I am thinking of getting a D4D Tuna or a Prado.
It will be used as moms taxi most off the time and some family visits to NAM.
Your thoughts on the two vehicles also considering the fuel price at the moment . :beg:

Depends on your bank balance, cause there is a 300K price tag difference! Both awesome vehicles!

Let me put it like this, if i had the $, id go for the new prado. You get the terrain select, adjustable suspension, all the bells and whistles as standard feature! But all that comes at a price!

For a mom's taxi a tuna.
Very comfortable on the long road.

But if money was not a problem,i would take the Prado.

Money is a problem, so take the Tuna if you are already thinking of the fuel price. Fuel will always go up more than it will come down. otherwise you would be looking at a cruiser :surrender:

Thanks everybody, it look like the Tuna is the winner purely because of value for money. I drove a Prado too and it is a lovely car but the price tag  .
Like I said its mom's taxi and I still drive my trusty Hilux.

I dont think that you will regret buying the Fortuner, its a great vehicle - the more I drive mine the more I like it, it is very capable.
When you come to a fork in the road, take it!
