The front can be improved with a custom BB, but that ugly hump in the rear is there to stay.

Not nice, Toyota! :irate: :whip: :faint:

I agree with the hump... it looks SOOOOO SsangYong...

The bling is also a little too much for my liking, but I suppose there will be some changes to that as this Fortuner was released in Asia, and they smaak bling..

They did get the interior right, much better than the new Hilux with the "aftermarket" tablet stuck on with ticky-tack..

Anyway.. all in all not too bad.. it could have ended up looking like a Nissan Juke...

The Fortuner should land in Zimbabwe within the next month. Inside is amazing. Outside requires a bit more beers to get used to. But as always they will sell. Time it arrives will give live pictures and reviews.

I don't think the after market BB will be any good.
Have a close look at the line of the bumper and where the silver on the grill comes down the side.
The only way to fit an after market to the will be a bumper cut and I personally think it will look worse than it does now....

It looks more like a lexus than a fortuna

Firstly, remember how we all thought the first "Vigos" looked terrible- "Eew, thos skinny little wheels under such a big bakkie" and "Daai vieslike klein agter ruit" or "Those back lights and the bare tailgate just look ugly and American". We will get used to it and it will grow on us.

Secondly, I understand the Fortuner will NOT be permanent 4wd anymore and will take on the pick-ups drivetrain being part time

+ 1 on the 4Runner looks much better, why won't Toyota SA bring it here?

I've been following these guys since they started, in their last season they took 2 4runners and a Tacoma (also a proper Toyota from the States) all the way down Central America.

Dink dis so R600 000 of bietjie meer.
