Leather seat care and black strip by boot

Post by lukestrugnell »

Hey guys

I just bought myself a 2011 4.0 v6 and am loving it.

2 questions:

1: the drivers seat is a bit scuffed and I want to use some sort of leather cream to hide the black marks. Can anyone suggest something?
2: where do I get that black strip that goes on the boot "step" area to protect against scratches?

Cheers
Luke

Hi Luke,

I used Meguiars Leather Care with great success on my Fortuner's seats. A bit pricey but worth it. Works great to remove scuff marks and protect the leather. Available at Builder Warehouse.

If you are referring to the non slip safety strip that is sometimes used on the side sills, then Builders warehouse well that as well.

Cheers
Greg
