Cutting cams

Hi guys,has anybody here done or know of anybody that has a v6 in their Hilux and had the cam cut for towing and what was the outcome?

My opinion is to leave it standard. As far as I understand, it might improve performance in the higher rev range but negatively affect the lower end power. :think:
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.

You get a lot better performance and drivabillity with cams on a v6 ford, they work even better if used with high compression pistons (there are three ratios avaiable)
My favourite 4x4 grind is the 272/276 split duration, gas flowing makes little difference, you can get by with smoothing the ports only
