Help! Help!Help!Electronic distributor conversion headache

Post by legend »

Hallo almal!

Leon, my guess would be they connect to the coil. How many wires were there on the old dizzy and where did they go to?

Steve!
The one wire from the previous distributor came from the + of the coil and it was only 1 wire....this one has got 2 wires. O.K
let say the brown with black wire goes to t + of the coil, where does the black wire go?

Another thing i have heard is the question of( has the new disi got a build in coil?) I don't know

Follow the + wire from the coil, it should go also throught a cap. This will be your Ignition +

Follow the - wire from the coil, connect this to the Tacho(Revcounter)
