Hi my mense, ek het 'n LR tenk op my SFA 22R, die soort was bo die spaarwiel sit. 'n Algemene probleem met die tenk is dat dit so 4 dae neem om vol te maak :slap: dink daar ontstaan 'n air-lock

Kan 'n mens 'n plan maak met die probleem? Of gooi jy maar net fol as jy 4dae beskikbaar het vir die oefening?

Hi Chris,

Ek het ook al baie daaroor gedink, ek gaan oor 'n ruk van myne ontslae raak maar as ek hom sou hou sou ek 'n Facet pomp ingesit het, wat vanaf die primere tenk voer, my LR tenk gravity feed na die primere tenk met 'n kraan tussen-in, so dan sou ek die LR tenk kan laat volmaak uit die prim tenk terwyl ek tussen dorpe ry.

Dalk kan dit vir jou werk.

Hi Chris,
Ok have same problem,look at your filler neck? the Locals put pump nozzle
in to deep in, by passing 2nd tank filler pipe,so they first fill organial tank ,than over flows
into 2 tank that takes long.look you will see 2nd tank filler pipe going over chassie
is half flat (ok mine is and other i have looked at) What i did going into Angola
put something under right back wheel so fuel ran into tank easier.Hope it will help you before
fuel price goes up?

Howzit Chris,

I have just had one installed and it took a couple of days for the okes to get it right :thumbdown: :thumbdown: . Needless to say Hoppy helped me out with some sound advice. Check out this topic viewtopic.php?f=44&t=26969" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Mark is right, the opening for the aux tank is quite close to the top of the filler pipe - try filling the aux first.

Ek vat gewoonlik die nozzle uit die perd se hand, draai dit op sy sy en druk hom reguit in die ekstra tenk se keel af.. anders as jy vol maak kan jy hom van die begin af mik na die las in die pype.. sodoende maak jy altwee gelyk vol.. :thumbup:

ek het nou mooi gekyk, die breatherpyp is oop, al wat ek akn sien is dat die Aux tenk se pyp efens toe knyp by die opening? Nie baie nie.

Sal dit help as ek 'n 50mm pvc pyp in die pyp sit om hom oop te hou?

Ek glo nie PVC gaan hou nie .... dit sal deur die petrol versag word. Voordat jy weet kan daar dalk stukke PVC in die petrol wees en dit sal dan 'n heel ander stel probleme veroorsaak.
