Hi There,

This is mainly as a reference.

I got the following air intake sensor to be used in my EFI setup. The main reason is that I have found a datasheet for it, so I don't have to worry about how accurate I measured the resistance versus temperature (also, my wife will thank me for not messing up the kitchen while doing my experiments).

I have ordered this from:

http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/gm-o ... -p-62.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and was quite happy with the service.

You can buy aluminium bungs or stainless steel bungs for the sensor on the same website. I managed to get one made up at our workshop from mildsteel. (Contact me if you are interested in a bung, as we have the correct thread die for it...)

Hi Jaco
Thanks for the info.
I also used Diyautotune when I purchased a Megasquirt EFI in kit form.
A few small resistors were missing from the kit.
They sent them to me immediately and I had them within six days.
Really great service! :thumbup:
I will definately use them again!

What has been worrying me (in the back of my mind) is that the EFI manifolds that we use come from 3ye engines, i.e., 2000cc engines, while the 4y is a 2200cc engine. After doing some research, I saw that Toyota used the same manifold (part number 17111-73011) for both 4ye and 3ye engines. (Apparently, some Hiluxes did come out with a 4ye engine, although only in Aus.) Well, now I have one thing less to worry about ...
