Distributor 2.2 D/C 4y problem

Good day Chaps

I have a SFA 2.2 4y D/C with a distributor that has a little helli blade sitting just below the rotor and one of these blades have broken off.Is this an original or a modified distributor on these vehicles? I have covered most of the PE area with no help what so ever. :| Where can i get another one of these helli blade type things from? Any help would be much appreciated ,thanks.

Not sure what you're referring to regarding the Helli fins???

Nonetheless, When I had distributor issues I bought a 3Y distributor from Midas which worked fine.

If I am right you use a lumunition electronic system. Also had one in my previous 2.2 4y. Had more problems than pleasure with it.It is not a reliable system. Rather change back to a standard dizzie with points condenser etc. or get a genuine toyota 4y electronic dizzie.

Thanks chaps,yes it was the lumination system in the van,hard to come by these days.So went to the mechanic today and took the system out and put in the 4y electronic system much better and simpler,thanks again.Am now a happier Toyota man.
