Rear locker

Post by NicoP »

Last night i wanted to fit the "new" diff with the 4.88 ratio. But no luck. Not even the other cente portion fits in to my current casing. So i put the old diff back toghter and now the diff lock stays engaged. Any Idea what can cause this to happen. I did put it in 4wd pushed the button for the locker and still nothing it stays engaged. Even in 2wd.

Hi Nico,

Is only the Difflock light on, or is the difflock mechanically engaged?

I'm guessing you have a Gearmax or simular fitted and when you put everything back you miss aligned the fork that enables the difflock.

The fork in the first picture needs to slide into the groove shown in the second picture. m2cw.
