KZTE Cooling System Pressured expansion tank

Post by Freeman »

Gents, I noticed this when browsing for a double cab for sale. Radiator sealed and pressure cap on the expansion bottle.

Can anyone explain this to me. I think it is standard to have a pressurised radiator and not an expansion tank?

I've also seen this on later models, think 2004 and up... I personally think its better than way, no radiator cap that can leak!

Nope!

My facelift(2002 - June) Kz still has a radiator cap and expansion bottle. However, the expansion botlle is not pressurised.

Not all bullnose facelifts have this, mine is a late 2003 and have a cap and separate expansion bottle, also not pressurised.

Ek het ook daai een gewonder, miskien het Toyota aandag gegee ivm die cooling, presies vir daai rede... Miskien moet ons n poll maak om te kyk hoeveel KZTE's se tops het al gekraak per jaar model?
