And the measurements are as follows:

1. Ground to bottom of wheel arch
2. Bottom of rim to bottom of wheel arch
3. Middle of hubcap to bottom of wheel arch
4. Top of rim to bottom of wheel arch

Front Driver side before and after:
1. 895mm 938mm
2. 742mm 780mm
3. 535mm 570mm
4. 325mm 360mm

Rear Driver side before and after:
1. 902mm 957mm
2. 748mm 800mm
3. 550mm 600mm
4. 328mm 378mm

Passenger reflects about 10 mm difference (higher than driver side) from the above values.

The ride is much softer and even corrugated gravel feels is a pleasure to drive over in comparison to the old suspension, which was in dior need of replacement. Took me almost three years to be able to afford the upgrade and fortunately I waited this long, because the ball joints and tie rod ends had to be replaced as well: another 6k added to the not so cheap suspension upgrade. A worthwhile investment!!

I have EFS in both my SFA Lux and Prado. Have never looked back or been sorry that I fitted the suspension.

As you say, driving on gravel and corrugated roads is a totally new experience. The suspension is comfortable.

The only thing that you need to remember and change your driving style slightly, is that your COG is now 40-50mm higher and the dynamics of the vehicle changes a bit.

Mikem is not available in Windhoek, unfortunately and OME prices are through the roof no matter what supplier. EFS was initially a compromise, but turned out to be not a compromise at all  The higher CoG is noticeable, but at the same time I seem to be experiencing less body roll, providing a much more stable and yet predictable ride. But thanks for the heads up
