hilux 3.0 info

Hi almal ek het onlangs n 2002 toyota hilux 3.0 DE 4x4 gekoop. Ek soek bietjie info. Watse diff ratio en meer belangrik sy ratkas. Dis n nagmerie. Sy 5 de rat is gedaan en die 2de rat maak n helse lawaai. Ek het n sfa shape se ratkas gekry vir n goeie prys. Gaan ek die bellhousings kan ruil en die sfa se ratkas kan insit? Enige raad?

Ek weet daar is n persoon in Vryheid (ook op die forum) wat dit gedoen het, miskien kan jy hom probeer opspoor, sy Hilux lyk baie goed met die solid as voor.

Thanks guys. I was lucky enough to get hold of the guy that was driving the hilux before i bought it. He says 2nd gear is fine but it started to jump out of 5th gear. It just got worse and eventually it just stopped working. Now when you select 5th gear to goes in smooth but seems like its still in neutral. Anyone knows what the problem could be? Is it maybe something small like a synchro or a bent selector or must i rather fit the other box?
