Fuel tank is cracked on the seam - where to get a new one made?

My fuel tank on my KZTE double cab is cracked on the seam and is leaking.
I have not asked the agents for a price on a new one, and Im sure it will cost a bomb!
I am going to take the tank to Northern Off Road and they will see if it can be successfully repaired.
Failing that, does anyone know I can get a new one made ?
Most of the 4x4 shops manufacture and supply auxiliary or long range tanks, but not replacements for the original.

Ill try post some photos when I get the tank later this afternoon.

Hi there Wayne.I suggest you try one of the radiator/ tank repair firms in your area.I would also insist that they weld strips across the seams for re-enforcing and to prevent problems in the future.Good luck with your repairs.

Quite possible to repair and it must be a S/S tank otherwise it would probably not have cracked.
Have strengthening ribs added on both sides as it is possible that it will happen again if you do not do this.
Scrap yards should also be able to assist you if the fixing has problems for any reason, but then make sure that you get the tank cleaned out properly, before installing...
This is a good time to fit an extra tank if you have overlanding plans for the vehicle..
