Nuwe Hilux Modifikasie en impak op my Motorplan en waranty

Ek het nuwe Hilux D-4D . Watse modifikasies kan ek doen op hom sonder om impak te maak op die motorplan of waranty .
Ek wil daai spacers op die voorste suspensie sit wat LA Sport verkoop en ook die sumpgaurd.
Sal ook graag later Bulbar wil opsit en winch .
Is daar dalk iemand By Toyota wat ek kan bel want die handelaars is nie regtig seker nie .Elke een het ander storie.

Jis Gideon, welkom hier by ons. Al raad wat ek kan gee is om maar na iemand by Toyota self te gaan om jou te help. My bakkie se warranty het jarre gelede al verval... :D

Gideon, n stiller memer hier het die Camil suspensie ingesit en die Toyota handelaar het gese dat sy waarborg op die suspensie verval sodra jy iets "verander".

Gideon, ek glo nie die spacers en sumpguard sal n impak he nie.
Toyota het al die mods op my bakkie gedoen, voor ek hom gekoop het, en sy waarborg en als is nog in plek.

Selfs al intercool en chip jy die bakkie, sal hul hom nogsteeds diens, maar waarborg verval.

Kan jy nie met die Handelaars Hoof gesels nie? Dan dring jy by hom aan op n antwoord, terwyl jy by hom sit en iemand bel wat weet as hy nie doen nie. Die sogenaamde verkoops konsultante maak nie altyd lekker uit nie.

Give who ever it is a call and they should be able to tell you.

In my experience with warranties, most things done to the engine, suspension and drive train that are not standard will void the warranty unless done by Toyota themselves, i.e. a Toyota approved modification.

The warranty is in actual fact held by Toyota, but managed by the Innovation group. As far as I know, if you replace/upgrade something, say suspension or chip, and anything that goes wrong because of, or around that part, the warranty for that part is voided and not covered by warranty.
I will confirm on Thursday at TSA and come back with a well informed answer.

The correct person ta ask at any dealership regarding warranty claims is the service manager. Nobody else. The workshop or service manager work everyday with warranty claims. So don't ask the cleaner, sales lady , invoicing clerk or spares sales person. THEY DONT KNOW.

Any modifications will void the warranty. The service plan stays intact always.
But to clear it out go to your usual service dealership and ask the Workshop manager.

Toyota warranties are administrated by Toyota themself as far as my knowledge goes.
The service plan is administered by an outside company as far as i know. But all Toyota systems to administer.
