Hypothetical sale of Vigo - original equipment?
I bought my Vigo 2nd hand with front and rear bumpers and suspension kit. Not a clue what happened to the original parts. If I replace the vehicle with a newer model, I would obviously like to transfer these extras to the new vehicle.
Where can I get hold of these items other than at the dealers? Do the 4x4 fitment places sit with heaps of these items they have replaced? Who knows what happens to these?

Get the place where you buying the new one to change it around for you, unless there is a colour differance or model change.
Done it plenty times with rims and other accessories.

Remember lets say you have a 2008 model. Then the front bumper wont fit on to the new one, the headlights, fenders and grill are different even the chassis in the front is slightly different. The Suspension and rear bumper stil will work.

So what happens to the standard bumpers and shocks that come off if the client doesn't want it?

you might be better off trying to sell it privately and gaining some of the extra's value. by the time you get replacement bumpers, all the fitting & swapping, you could just as well get new or used one's for the new vehicle.

One have to get the same year model or at least the same model that shares yours front bumper. The Suspension and rear bumper one can take from yours and swop it with the new one.

Bumpers - I took it home and gave it away.
shocks and suspension bit - just left it at the fitment shop.

Those places that sell bodyparts should be way cheaper, eg a Kz front bumper, both pieces, cost around R400!
Then find someone who does private panelbeating for the spraywork.
