Kompresser agter die agterste sitplek

Post by Masekind »

Ek wil my kompresser agter my agterste sitplek sit maar is effe groot.

Rather have compressor seperate; fixed behind the seat restricts use to the immediate surround of the vehicle. Space behind the seat is ideal for other loose items, such as a briefcase, magazines, maps, toilet paper, etc, etc, etc.
I have mine fitted into one of the smaller ammo boxes, which has enough room for other items such as the extension cord, pressure gauge, puncture repair kit, etc.

Was behind the seat, but would get to hot and awkward to reach all around the vehicle, must also look at Cassies system, but please don't put it on while driving, the air pressure is to high and tends to flip the bakkie over

The best IMO is not to mount it in a fixed position, so that you are flexible with it's use .... you might need to assist another vehicle or any other use away from your own vehicle. Additionally, if placed outside during operation it gets better air cooling which allows a slightly longer duty cycle and the unit is more likely to last longer.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
