Cruise Control on a 2012 Hilux, need help

Hi, I have a 2012 Hiilux and I installed the cruise control switch kit I got from ebay but it doesnt work. I checked youtube theres this video about non-prewired toyota(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgxh_DGzxmI) , I think mine is non-prewired. I just dont get the part in 5:30 about the ECM socket. which part of the socket will I put the wire in? or if anyone has any experience installing it on this model please help :)
I have tried installing it on a 2016 Revo and it does work just by plugging the switch to the steering wheel without any additional wirings.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
