Ek het ook n paar beetles in my jong dae deurgewerk, selfs n trip varsity toe was n ekspidisie, dis hoekom eek nou n Hilux so wardeer.

Dit was darm maklik om daai engines uit te haal. My enigste engine wat ek ooit uitgehaal het was a 1600 twinport uit 'n splitty.
Met my skoon pa oor die foon het hy my mooi vertel :lol: Dit was nog in telkom dae

Dunno if you recall that glass-fibre beach buggy shell that was standing in my yard .... well it's still there - was supposed to be a project together with my son, but never got to completion. Well the motor is a 1600 twin-port ... still standing under wraps with stainless pipes and all, waiting for me to get the time to do the body. :eh:

Hah where are the Project builders ,first to find a proper tow vehicle so that I can also do a 360 with it while being hitched :dance:

very good idea and the beatle's roof was strong enough to support it. Make maneuvering a caravan so much easier.
