Off road bumper
Ek dink daar aan om n off road bumper op my Hilux KZTE te sit. Is dit nodig om die voorste suspensie te upgrade om die gewig te dra?

It is advisable to upgrade the suspension to carry the load....

Depends on the bumper, my bumper weighs about 18Kg, then there is no need to upgrade suspension.
If you fit something like ARB or NudgeM which weighs close to 50Kg then maybe and if you fit a bumper and winch then most definitely yes.

Staal, maar hy is custom built.
Probleem met al die massa produksie goed wat jy koop is dat hulle massief groot is omdat hulle voorsiening maak vir 'n winch, of jy nou een gaan opsit of nie.
Ek het geen behoefte aan 'n winch nie en my bakkie het nie lekker in die garage gepas nie. My bumper steek dus slegs so 80mm voor die grill uit en omdat hy nie al die plate en brackets en goed vir 'n winch het nie is hy baie ligter.
