Re: Hey Zepplin.......check this out...
Yes it is Zepplin's old truck......
I have been in discussion with Hoppy for a while now and we are trying something fairly new (I think!).
Anyhow, the plan is to put in a D4D with a manual diesel pump. Hoppy reckons he can get it to run just as sweetly - if not better than the electronic system.....
I want to get away from management systems as there are no real gurus here to sort it if there are issues.
This also means new gearbox, diffs etc.
Hopefully I can pick it up in 4 weeks time!

Re: Hey Zepplin.......check this out...
Tyd sal leer!
En my brandstofverbruik behoort te verbeter!

Re: Hey Zepplin.......check this out...
Good afternoon gents and ladies.
I recently baught a 97 hilux dc sfa.
I baught it with a 7mge motor with gotech management and a w58 gearbox.
My problem is that the guy I baught it from just loaded a base map, and thus the bakkie is very heavy on fuel and struggles with cold starting in the morning. I have got a serial cable and went onto the ecu, thus don't know how to configure the ecu.
Is there anybody that uses the same setup that can assist me with a copy of their gotech ecu map or a guide or assistance on how it must be set up.
Thanks for reading it is much appreciated.
Regards

Try the search function of the forum. I have no idea who could help and honestly I found it difficult to find a dictator guru that could help in my case.
Hope you come right
