Naand almal,ek wil hoor wat moet ek aales doen om n 2005 2.7 vvti in my 2x4 Hilux in tesit? Ek kan die engine saam met die ecu en harnas kry+die air cleaner met sy sensor + die bellhousing flyweel en clutch kit en ek kry nog die petrol pedaal ook want hys mos elektronies.Dis n vriend van my hyt die bakkie gekoop maar wil niks weet van die 2.7 af nie , hy gaan n V8 lexus insit.Ek sal julle raad wardeer en julle menings,dankie. En waar kan ek sy bedrading diagram kry.DAnkie

Ek het nog nie daai bedrading probeer nie, as jy std ecu gaan gebruik moet jy na die volgende kyk of uitvind daaroor, koded key, speedo wat elektronies werk by die lexcus vvti was dit n probleem met die autobox, throttle by wire sal jy moet gebruik. Sterkte

You will need fit a high pressure pump in the tank and thats the least of it. ;-) Toyota utilizes canbus with their immobilizer systems. To all intense purposes this wiring cannot be cut and joined.You will need the computer boxes engine and immobilizer. These units are needed for other functions in the donor vehicle so I don't think your friend will part with it.The wiring is going to be your biggest obstacle. I would take the motor, change the throttle body to a normal cable operated unit. There are numerous after market units available that will work. If you wish to use the idling control function of the after market ecu (Dicktator, Perfect Power, Spitronics: pick one your installer is comfortable with) then you will need a Bosch rotary type idle control valve. The vvt function will work from your after market ecu as well. Hope this makes it easier.... :alvarin:

Dankie julle,ja dis maar n groot kopseer,dis alles net drome,het vir amper 2 jaar sonder werk gesit en het 3 maande trug n werk gekry maar die salaris is amper net genoeg vir petrol en sigirete,ekt gedink dit sal makliker wees met sy eie ecu maar dit lyk nie so nie,ek dink ek gaan maar uit chicken op die 1.Dankie vir julle raad.
