1GR-FE V6 4.0 ENGINE OUT

My vriend het n bakkie 2006 gekoop saterdag , ek kry hom more dan kom die 4.0 uit in die volgende paar dae . Dis n auto ,ek gaan die transfer case gebruik op sy nuwe hart oorplanting. Ek sal seker maak van die km en model. As iemand sou belangstel laat weet. Ek sal prys nog by hom uitvind. Ja ek sal foto's opsit van die projek, hy gaan n 3UZFE kry met al die betrokke std ecu's ens, julle weet mos nou. groete

The irony of it is that V6 puts out basically the same as the 1UZFE kw and torque! Thats whats giving me doubts about my conversion.....

Die V6 176kw 343nm auto 363nm.Die 3UZFE 224kw en 441 nm daar is verseker meer krag?

Hi Spartan Ja dit gaan n mooie wees ,beslis std ecu daar is tans n bakkie by Chris mod wat hulle alles probeer hulle is terug na die ou 4 spoed en dis n disaster hy sit met sy hande in sy hare. So Ek kan nie wag vir die bakkie om te ry nie my vriend wie se bakkie dit spandeer baie , 16 fortuner wiele bonnet grill Calipers vir beter, disks agter het nog nie begin soek vir oplossing nie maar ons moet dit doen. Jarus ek gaan probeer om daar te wees as die bakkie klaar is sal ek by my vriend hoor hoe is sy program daai tyd. Ek is bly om te sien jy het uiteindelik petrol ontdek nou moet jy nog net daai lister enjin uit haal en begin om jou Hilux te geniet. Groete vir vrou

Man, ek is nie so seker oor die 2.8 uithaal nie - like hom te baie kwaai. En moenie dink die V6 gaan Bundu, Jamboree of Tuinroete ry nie - dis waarvoor die Bees daar is. Ek vat wel die nuwe een die naweek RDW toe - sal bietjie walletjies ry in die Gymkhana - niks meer nie - hy moet mooi en heel bly vir LAAAAAANG trips in die toekoms. Sien julle miskien onder die boom.

Ja hy is amper daar , ek moes die adaptor 2 keer terug stuur en daarna het ek in elk geval nog werk op hom gedoen, die enjin is nou terug in en ons begin maandag met die final bedrading in die bakkie se harnass. Die V6 het ek nog nie verkoop nie ek sal julle laat weet wanneer hy beskikbaar is . Ek het al tesame 6.5 weke gewag vir die adaptor. weet iemand dalk wie ook so n adaptor kan maak of te cnc of so iets, want dis belaglik hoe lank ek moes wag intussen moet die tuin ingeneur n bakkie skoon hou sonder n enjin. My volgende reply gaan n video clip wees. Watch the space!!!

Ja ek is nog hier, ek het al so 2000km op die bakkie gesit. Ek het saterdag n 4.5 ratio's ingesit ongelooflik verskil voor die ratio verandering was ek By SAC net om te sien wat gee hy op die wiele 316 nm 134kw , ek sal nou hom weer vat en kyk of daar n verskil is. Die bakkie loop ongelooflik sag , ek sukkel met die aircon manne , maar het gister op mense afgekom wat lyk my die werk verstaan. Dan behoort ek hom saterdag vir my vriend terug gee . Met die 3.5 ratio doen hy op speedo gewys so 125km/h in 2de en 3 de 165km/h 4 de toe spring die speedcop voor my in, gelukkig was dit vir die oorlaaide taxi wat amper voor my ingery het. Petrol verbruik is hy swaarder as die V6 want ek ry glad nie mooi nie ek skat 5km/l. My vrou se dis te veel krag sy het ook met hom gaan gery vir n oggend omrede sy 80% met die Fortuner ry .Nat pad is n probleem, selfs op die highway en jy trap hom soek jy vir moeilikheid, maar die eienaar soek hom vir sleep doeleindes plaas toe en dan ook elkedag vervoer, nie vir drag racing. Ek sal beslis dit vir my ook doen maar ek sal manual gebruik, dit sal baie vinniger wees om die ombouing te doe,n as wat jy moet wag vir die adaptor tussen auto en transfercase. Die rat oorskakeling is ongelooflik, my vriend ry n LX 570 en die 4.3 skakeling voel dieselfde- seep glad. 120km/h is hy by 3000 r/min, waar in die Lexus 430 is hy so 3400r/min, so as ek die ratio na 4.8 vat sal hy perfek wees. Die naweek sal ek gou my Cruiser agter hom sit en N4 se bulte gaan probeer. Groete

This is exactly what I have in mind except also manual. I want to use the D4D gearbox. The only thing I’m worried about is the clutch. :problem:

Lekker smooth this vigo. Ratios, ratios,ratios :( what a pain.
Nice ratios on the A650E auto box tho and with a 4.88 diff, magic
Much better low end torque than the 1uz aswell, over 400 nm at 3400 rpm

Gunta that six speed that fires on STD is not out there my friend. Got to get around the smartkey system and the 10 other immobilisers
on that thing. This vigo is a five speed, no smartkey and only the one ECU immobiliser unit with transponder key system.

Ongelukkig is al die fotos tydens die ombouing verlore. My vriend het gou die bakkie gebring sodat ek gou vir julle kon fotos neem en opsit. Enige kommetaar welkom, al wat ek weet is die autobox van enige Lexus is nie reg vir n bakkie nie. As ek weer so iets doen Manual ek weet nog nie watter een nie maar nie Lexus nie. Nou lag Fana lekker vir my, my eie bakkie met die 2JZGTE in is op manual ek het nou behoorlik alles al in n hilux gesit, ek dink selfs al kry ek n 4.6 sal ek twyfel oor auto,die Dakar bakkie se auto is glo nie die een van die kar nie ?. groete

Nee geen probleme maar ons het baie meer verwag van die enjin, moes ratio's verander van 3.5 na 4.5 dit het baie gehelp. Het baie gesukkel met aircon ek dink hy was meer by aircon manne as by die eienaar se huis en by almal betaal jy maar en kry niks. Elke keer breek hulle iets van die plastiek van die bakkie ,trap met hulle vuil skoene op die matte ens. 5.5 km/l met 265 75 16 bande. dis moes net manual gewees het dan was ons happy. My vriend wil he ek moet n supercharger soek, tot dus ver is daar een ou in USA wat se hy sal kan help, maar hy het nog nie n antwoord op die vvti nie. Twin turbo is n opsie maar soos julle kan sien is spasie n effense probleem. Met std ecu en bietjie groter injectors kan n ou so 0.4 boost, maar die 4.3 is bekend dat die sub nie so sterk is nie. groete

Alex, ek weet hoekom sukkel julle so met die performance: Julle het vergeet om die badge op die kant te verander na 4.3 V8!

Ja ek het ook so gedink maar n ou se voet is maar swaar. LS 430 gee maar 8.5km/l as jy die baksteen shape vergelyk met kar moet daar seker n verskil in verbruik wees ,maar hy is maar swaar. Ek wil nog probeer vas stel of die petrol pomp genoeg flow rate het vir die v8 volgens die regulator lyk dit so.
