Was die naweek weer in die duine! :celebrate:
Ek, Viljee en ou Lehan gou gaan kyk wat maak die 6 proppe in die rooi sand.

Nou wil ek weet, na die werk aan Kaspaas se hart, Rev die ou hoër as normaal.
Sal did wys wees om 'n limiter in te sit?
Wat is te hoog vir n 7M??

Is daar nadele??
Enige namaaksels wat ek moet vermy??

Cobus.. op daai video wat jy vir my gestuur het rev jy hom nog nie hoog genoeg vir 'n limiter nie.. :twisted: :twisted:

Hy behoort 'n limiter te he, alhoewel ek hom nog nooit kon kry nie.. :silent: :silent:

Volgens my moet hy mos 'n ingeboude limiter hê??
Dis dan die OME ECU?

Cassie, eks bevrees daai strokie gaan nie help nie.
Daai "plat voet" sindroom kan niks keer nie........... :twisted:

Cobus, daai 7M engine het eers sy maksimum krag piek bereik op 6000 rpm. Jy kan daai enjin maklik tot 6500 rev en dan sy hy nog nie die limiter haal nie. Ek weet die meeste petrol toyota enjins wat limiters in het kan jy maklik 800 rpm verby sy krag piek vat voor hy limit.

Die 160i GLE corollas en 180i en daai enjins se krag is op 6200 en hy limit op 7000 op die revcounter. :shock: :shock: Het dit ook al gesien op ander enjins. Hulle limit hom baie hoor as die rooi lyn. Maar daai 7M kan jy maklik 6500 rev sonder gevolge. As ek reg kan onthou van jare terug op die dyno's werk, het hulle op 6800 as ek reg onthou gelimit standaard.

Ek sal se 6500 is veilig vir daai enjin.

PS my 4Y het ek al sover gevat.

Maar as daai ECU die standaard ECU is dan sal die rev limiter mos nog daar wees is dit nie?

Cobus, toe ek hom gedruk het was daar nie tyd om die rev-counter ook nog dop te hou nie.. As hy skree soos 'n kat wat se stert afgekap word, dan loop hy min of meer reg... :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
