Hoppy ran his Rattle&Humm Hilux with 35" tyres without it ever touching. I also know of people who use the space underneath the arches to put water tanks.DustySFA wrote:First thing i also asked...previous owner only reported some light touching when towing trailor and going over some serious terrain...without the trailor, nothing...

Yep, It's looking really, really neat! Getting more stares than the X6, hey? .... they were probably thinking "Daai mooi ou Hilux sal seker die BM se gat kan skop".
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Re: My New Lux...Life begins now!
shot guys,
just had her dyno tuned at Dyno Logic and Schalk worked his magic, 14% kw increase which is noticable!
the choices he offered was km/l or hp/uphill...i chose a combination...
the first reading at 3000rpm was 49.6, when i left it was over 56...at 3000rpm.
and i must add that those hankooks are amazing tyres...
