Dit is nog n jong een die. Ek het nog nooit een in die dag gesien in die veld nie en n ander ding wat ek nog nooit lewendig in die wild gesien het nie is die itermago. Was eendag braaf genoeg gewees om n klein ystervarkkie tevang met die hand, jy vang hulle van die voorkant af nie van die agterkant af wat die skerpkant is nie.

Niel jy was rerig baie gelukkig om die ou te kliek. Daar is 'n ou grote op die plaas in die Tankwa wat snags baie woelig is, ek sien elke oggend sy spore en nuwe grou plekke, maar ek kon hom nog nooit sien nie, wat nog afneem. Ek noem hou ou drietoon, want sy spoor het slegs 3 tone. Ek het al met skemer en net voor son opkoms op die plaas rongesluip, maar geen drietoon.......net sy spore en gate! En dan sy mis, wat soos klonte grond lyk want lyk my hy vreet baie grond saam met die miere en termiete.
