With which Garmins (model no) can you use with tracks for Africa?

Any of the ones produced over the last few years - i.e. the ones with the larger memories, You will need Mapsource to load T4A. The older Garmins with smaller amount of RAM would be problematic as you would only be able to load bits and pieces of the mapset.

So even the Nuvi 200? I got 2GB external memory and used mapsource to load the southern africa and west africa maps..... You can download from Track 4Africa site @ about R800 for all the maps,or you can pick the ones you need at smaller amounts.Just remember,if you buy the maps one by one ,it will cost you more at the end of the day.

As Johan says, buy only the map / area required. If you need more later the purchase the map / area required for then....
Mad this mistake about 3 years ago and bouht all at once. 2 years later, still have not been to certain area's. Now have to purchase those...

Got a demo from tracks for Africa, Kruger Park Area, and even works on the Nuvi 200.....

I always load Garmap onto the internal memory of a GPS, and then T4A on the SD card. That avoids any possible conflicts that occur with auto-routing when two mapsets are installed. Switching the one off under map Info does not always prove effective if you bundle the mapsets into one application. Removing the SD card with T4A when not required is a good way to go about things.
