Ek het 'n boete gekry

soos seker baie van julle. My probleem is:

1) Die kruisie van die kamera is onder die sleepwa, moontlik op die of so iets
2) Daar is 'n persoon in die foto.

Weet iemand wat sê die wet?

Haal die chip uit om volgende boetes te voorkom

Kyk daar is twee dinge wat ek met n swaar hart betaal.Die een is sars en die ander een is verkeers boetes.

As jy daai boete nie met geregistreerde pos ontvang het nie, is dit glo onwettig. Daar is ook iets in verband met hoeveel daë verval het. Lees bietjie hier.

The Joburg metro police department could lose about R1 billion in revenue because it hasn’t followed Aarto regulations to the letter. The JMPD has – since June last year – been sending infringement notices to motorists by post – instead of by registered mail.

This makes them invalid.

Section 30 of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences (Aarto) Amendment Act stipulates that infringement notices must be served personally or be sent by registered mail to the last known address of people who have infringed the law.

Section 30(2) of the act states that a document sent by registered mail in terms of subsection (1) of the act is regarded to have been served on an infringer on the 10th day after the date stamped on the receipt issued by the Post Office, unless evidence, which may be in the form of an affidavit, is produced.

But the JMPD has continued delivering infringement notices via surface mail and not registered mail.

JMPD Director Gerrie Gerneke is on record as saying that postage fees at R18 per notice for registered mail would be too high a cost for the law enforcement agency

Die ergste is dat my vrou my so ewe waarsku toe ons deur JHB gaan en slimmie reken haar mos toe dat ek reken almal stem en dat daar nie speedtraps sal wees nie. Ek ry mos in elk geval binne die toelaatbare 10% in 'n 120km zone....

Min het ek geweet....

Stem saam, nie 'n geldige boete nie MAAR trek die F#$%#$%^@^ jou af in 'n pad blokade, betaal jy daar of jy kry bangles - no questions asked. En nee, die donners voel niks vir die oorspronklike dagvaardiging is nie daar of niks.

Been there, paid with alot of swearing and name calling!

Maar eendag is eendag dan gaan hulle mooi op hul #$%^#$ kry!

You absolutely cannot be arrested or detained at roadblocks for outstanding AARTO fines. Traffic authorities may not force you to pay at roadblocks since none of them are appointed as the Sheriff of the court. You must however be aware of the fact that not dealing with your infringement notices will cost you in the end.
