AAWDC CIF DAY

Post by Ashley »

Good Day All

The AAWDC CIF DAY will take place on 12 November 2011 at Melkbos 4x4.

We already have 7 entries and only have space for one more. This has been communicated to all the Clubs over past few months.

I suggest you enter sooner rather than later to avoid disapointment.

Regards

Ashley

CIF stands for Cape Interclub Family Day ...
As quoted from the 4x4com forum:

Looks like they "forgot" about the Hilux4x4 club....

It's not our fault if Pieter was in the Richtersveld :beach: having a well deserved rest.

All is not lost there is still space for one team.

Not sure how you are connected with the AAWDC Ashley, but perhaps they should broaden their communication :wink2:

Thanks Ashley, we posted it at viewtopic.php?f=57&t=20749" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Seems there was a communication problem besides the fact that I was not here.

I checked my mail box and at end July you were still looking for a venue, the poster was released on 23 Aug and the first official letter I received was on 31 Aug, so somewhere along the line I missed the other invitations which was communicated over the past months

gents so how about it ?

The Hilux boys had a LOVELY day at this event last year.

Would be a crying shame if Hilux is not represented this year...... TOO MANY of "those american" 4x4's there already ...... (stir-stir)

For those that were not there last year, at Outrekpad. the idea is that EIGHT clubs enter a number of vehicles each, with at least a driver and co-driver. BONUS points for extra family in the vehicle !! The whole aim is to make the 4x4 live style accessible to the WHOLE family. The obstacles are NOT car breakers.

DIS VET PRET !!!!

with still 2,5 months to the event there IS enough time for the Hilux guys and gals to get their teams together - the Club just need to act swiftly to book that last spot. :)

No worries Pieter, Loizet did check yesterday and the mails were sent,so it must be a gremlin somewhere.

Entries only close on 30 September but as the spots were quickly being snapped up we were concerned that we had not heard from Hilux or the other two Clubs that took part last year.

It will be great if you could join us this year.
