Info and pics needed for IFS Roof rack rails

I finally managed to get myself a roof rack that I liked :yahoo: Although its black it is alu :thumbup:

The next step is to make the rails and feet for the rack.i have a few ideas, but please can I get some input and please pretty please :beg: some close up pics of rails and feet on the IFS bakkies.

George ek het die brackets gemaak, maar nooit opgesit nie.
Intussen het ek by Johannes gesien dat jou bakkie reeds gate het daarvoor. Jy moet net daai swart strip op die dak oplig en dan sal jy sien daar is gater en soos ek verstaand reeds met skroefdraad. Johannes vannie See het lank terug by Toyota die regte brackets gekoop en net daar vasgeboud, daardie brackets is eintlik amoer net soos 'n hoekyster met gate in. Jy sal dan daai strip net weerskante van die bracket moet sny voor jy dit kan terugsit.

Ek het dit nog nooit gedoen. Nadata ek 'n roofrack op die kappie gesit het, het die behoefte van roofrack op die kajuit vir eers verdwyn.

Ek het my "strips" afgehaal maar daar is nie enige gate in nie :problem:

When frontrunner fitted my RR they had to drill the holes,there are two beams running from left to right inside the cab,they use those to attach the RR too.The RR weight actually rests on those two strenthning beams,5mm thick large round washers was then used.hope that helps :thumbup:

Thanks Niel.looks like I will have to remove the lining to actually see what these beams look like, before i start planning the brackets

Here is the mounting already installed on my Hilux 2006. Don't know if it was factory installed or diy, bought it like that.

I got my rails and rack installed today. :dance1:
Excellent service from Hannibal :thumbup: They charged me R1000 for the rails and they made brackets for the rack and fitted everything :yahoo:
