Serious Mods on Hilux's in the Northen Cape.

Post by Kaspaas »

WHO STILL THINKS THAT WE ARE WAY BEHIND?

All the following Mods are done in Kakamas;

First up is a 1972(not sure) Toyopet Stout 1800, still needs a lot of work but the 4Y (Yes thats correct :twisted: ) is allready in place! Cant wait for the finished project!

Secondly: Is a 1992 S/C 4x4 on 35"s.(eventaully)
and turned with Land Cruiser diffs.
Previously it had n 5cilinder OM602 Merc engine (Diesel).
Its being fitted with a 5.7l 350 V8 Cevy (He had a need for more Oompf) :twisted:

And here is the beast in the making. About 15years back, when Keimoes/Upington/Pofadder and Kakamas still had active Rally clubs, this 1st Gen Hilux was a four time campion!! Its currently being rebuilt, from top to bottom. The hart is a 22R with twinside carbs and darfts! :twisted: Rumour has it that it had a peak power of 119KW on the wheels!!

And last but not least:
Two potensial monsters for the future:

Now I still need to get a photo of the Toyota Stallion with the 7MGTE!! :shock: :twisted:

So what you guys think? :cooldude:
