Difficult to say ... mine is a complete original Mauser (Oberndorf), so it's easy because the weapon is date stamped. If it's not date stamped and Musgrave left the original serial number on the action it could give you some kind of idea, but really, I wouldn't sweat it at all .... they don't give hassles no matter how old. ;-)
