Dankie, dit was baie lekker. Ons kon ongelukkig nie tot bo ry nie. Die roete was nie oop tot bo nie. Matroosberg kon eers saterdag 'n bulldozer instuur om die sneeu van tot 1 meter diep van die pad te skraap. Ek moes by die rotsbank omdraai. Nadat die trekker vroeer daar oor is, was die ys veronderstel om gebreek te wees. Dit was egter nie heeltemal die geval nie en ons het net op 1 plek bly gly. Nadat ek die bande verder afgeblaas het, het ek weer probeer en toe nog steeds kon ek geen traksie kry nie, toe besluit ek maar dis ver genoeg. Niemand het dit in elkgeval verder gery as ek nie. Ek het later verneem die roete was nie veel verder op oop nie. Ek was alleen behalwe vir 'n land rover wat my aangegluur het. Die ouens het geloop na die kruin om te gaan snowboard. Ek was nie van plan om deur 'n LD recover te word nie hehe. Ons was in elkgeval daar vir die sneeu, iets wat my kinders nog nooit beleef het nie.

Dis nie 'n te ernstige roete nie, ek reken Tierkloof was moeiliker. Die 1ste deel van die Matroosberg roete is bleikbaar die moeilkste deel en ek is daar deur sonder probleme.

Dis 'n lekker dag trippie vir die capies, so sit hom op jou to do list. Op hulle facebook profile update hulle gereeld nuwe fotos en die ouens is groot toyota manne.
Waldi het my 'n ou grappie vertel toe ek die oggend inteken. Hy sê: jy kan nou vir jou 'n landy bestel in camo kleure, hulle camo hom sodat hy nes jou driveway lyk. :laugh2:

Hulle het baie akkomodasie daar en 'n lekker kampplek, baie bome en 'n rivier wat teen die kampplek verby loop. Daar is ook 'n 4x4 speelgat, ek was nou nie daarin om te kyk hoe dit lyk nie. Ek is seker Waldi of Didi sal jou meer kan vertel.
