22-24SEPT-Long Weekend- GTG Boegoeberg 4x4 CANCELLED

Hey Guys, am going to move the deadline for booking and payment to 24 hours to book and pay your deposits. I was unsure of my date of return from my trip and made an arrangement with Boeggoeberg that we only pay our deposits by the 7th, believing that we would have the numbers ie 10-15 vehicles. There has not been a good response so far for the weekend, and I understand that the regular attendees have made other arrangements for the long weekend. In lieu of that I would not like to hold Boeggoeberg back in filling the camping spots that they have set aside for us and would therefore like you to confirm your attendance and deposits to be paid so that I can finalize the arrangments. We need at least 10 vehicles by 12h00 on Thurs 6th Sept for the event to proceed. Deposits need to be paid into the club account, it will be 50% of your costs for the weekend.

Dankie! Almal is ok! Die blikskottel het by my buurvrou se kar ingebreek en ek het to 'n swak poging aangewend om hom te vang en in die proses in my muur vas gerevers! Seker maar nog deur die slaap gewees!!!! Ok maar goed die muur het my spoed gebreek anders het hy 2de gekom........

Ek sal ongelukkig nie die naweek kan bywoon nie. Het 'n insident gehad met 'n inbreker in die nag 2:40 in die oggend en my bakkie gestamp. So dit sal seker by die panelshop wees dan.

Need to recover a bit, and we will see... As I was driving home from Orange river was blown away by the scenery, flowers and landscape, and thought what a stunning place to spend a long weekend at this time of the year. Canola fields are bright yellow amongst the lush green crops, flowers are out all over the place. Citrusdal is buzzing with activity, stalls with honey, konfyt fruit and veg.. only downfall a bit of road works passed Citrusdal... but, what can I say.... such is life...
