So last week Thursday I got to my truck and found a big puddle of oil by the left back wheel. Took it to Martin le Roux motors to have a look at and the left back sideshaft bearing was shot.
Should get it back today. Was very sad to be without my truck for the weekend.
Everyone's first response when I tell them what happened - did you not hear it going? Uhm, with Muds and a V6 motor. No I did not hear a thing.

205 000km op die clock. So dis seker maar tyd gewees. Ek vervang beide kante nou.
Die dust seal was non existing toe ons die bearing uithaal.
Ek dink nie dit het skielik gebeur nie en ek was gelukkig dat ek die olie sien uitkom het en hy nie op die highway op spoed gefail het nie.
Dit kon baie erger gewees het!

Jy's eintlik baie gelukkig ek het so n hele paar jaar terug met my ou Mazda midge gery vanaf die Kaap en die bearing het ook ge collapse, toe ek aftrek en die kar op jack toe val die wiel sommer af met die stub axle. So nie lekker ervaring nie, maar bly jy kon dit uitsort sonder skade.
