Re: Not the way to do it guys!!
Sand is a lot more forgiving than rocks. trees or soil but even so, I think those guys were lucky to get out of there without serious injury.
Some tips I learned a long time back .... if it looks like it's going to get rough, buckle up and close the side windows at least half way. The reasn for buckling up is obvious but it's a natural reflex action to put your arm out if you're falling over .... same applies under some conditions if you're going to roll (I know, I've done it myself in the past). Closing the window prevents putting the arm out before logical thoughts kick in and possibly saving it from amputation.

When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

Agree except that you should be buckled up at all times... ja ja except water crossings, but thats not applicable here...Mud Dog wrote:Sand is a lot more forgiving than rocks. trees or soil but even so, I think those guys were lucky to get out of there without serious injury.
