Hilux Mods

Post by Rinus »

I've Build my own Off-road bumper and had the winch fitted 68 Kg in total to the front end. Lost 55mm from standard to after the new front end. Lost all the handling I originally had from the day I drove it of the shop floor. After allot of research on this forum and 4x4 community forum I made the decision to have the front uprated with aftermarket Coil-overs, went for the Camil HD Coil and damper combo. Must say the Team from Creative Wheels East Rand gave me excellent service R7100,00 Total bill.
I can not believe the improvement in handling , even better than the day my Hilux had 100Km on the clock. No more: Body role, Nose dive, excessive pitching. It also looks good pretty awesome to.
Estimate total lift 45mm higher than the standard spec Thanks to Camil Suspension front only + Wrangler 31-10.5-15" MT/R Kevlar.

Sounds good Rinus, but how has it affected the front end articulation?

Naaaais ! Ons het sulke tipe van stainless " U" knippe aan die nommerplaat vasgesit, nou pas hy mooi oor die rollers van die wen-as.
Word te vinnig oud en te stadig wys.
