Hi . A little more power and money wise a tad more expensive +- R2000. But for me a better looking engine . And the 5 speed auto has nice ratios . You can swop a a650 on a non vvti if you run aftermarket . Std non is a a341

Yip all of them are timing belt driven . Non vs vvti . If the timing belt slips or break on vvti engines its good bye to a few valves . But the non vvti one is a lucky one . Slightly lower compression ratio .

David so its "belt" and not "chain"? I know on the V6 1GR-FE VVTi they use a "chain" (fortunately).

Yip all 1uz 2uz and 3uz are belt driven . But its a very strong one . They don't brake or snap . Usually there's only are reason this happens .

Hi.
I am building a W115 with Lexus 3uz engine and auto transmission.
I desperately need help with suspension and brakes.
Any info will be a great help.
I'd like to get your personal email so I can communicate a bit easier.
Again, any help will be much appreciated.

Is your car finished?
I would love to see pics.

Regards
Warren

Hi Warren and welcome to the forum. The last post on this thread that you're responding to is over 5 years old and it's quite possible that David is no longer a regular visitor here. It might be better to use the "Contact" facility (in his profile on the side) to send him an email or private message.

Good luck. :winkx:
