Ek het die naweek gesit en dink aan al die speletjies wat ons buite gespeel het wat met tyd verdwyn.

Ek is nou nie 'n oom of oupa nie, maar ek ken vir Kennetjie, Blikaspaai, Blindemol... My pa het dit alles vir my geleer toe ek klein was...

Sykous vol sand oor n pad in die aand te sleep,baie karre amper beheer laat verloor.Of n beursie wat aan dun vislyn vas gemaak is in die pad te laat le.Sodra iemand afbuk om dit op te tel word die beursie vinnig ingekatrol.Ons het as kinders baie sport daarmee gehad.

Een ou moes altyd "kayvie" hou (en die hond besig hou), dan klim die ander in die vrugte bome. Jy wag net tot hulle lekker besig is met pluk, dan gooi jy n klip op die dak en hol, jy moet sorg dat jy voor bly want as die oom jou nie kry nie, dan donner jou pelle jou!
