Morning gents.....
I hope the new year has been good to all of you!!!!
Im still doing homework on the install of the 7M in my 1996 2,8D DC.
I came across conflicting info on which sump to use. CAN ANYBODY POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?
Any advice would be appreciated,PLEASE!

Re: What sump on 7M to use in 4x2 DC
I'm also installing a 7m in my 4x4 dc SFA. My engine comes from a cressida, and the sump pan is in front. It fits nicely, but for when I drive steep inclines, I'd preffer the pan to be at the back.
Perhaps somebody like Kaspaas or Thys de Jager who have experience in this matter can comment?
If yours isn't 4x4, I suppose you can use anyone that will fit. I know that the Supra 7m's sump pan is in the middle. I'm not sure which will fit over your steering rack.

Llewellen, the only reason the sump gets changes is that the front diff on a SFA 4x4 is in the way.
On a 2x4 I doubt if need to change the sump. (Unless a cross member is in the way).

Crooza VX 80 efi - fully locked.
