If you can buy the two half set it is very easy, other wise it is a huge job. Took my vehicle to a CV joint place and the replaced both sides including a service (I think for +- R1200) Couldn't find the two halves type.

Hier is my vorige thread se info.
2004 Hilux 2.7 front CV rubber boot replacement
Replacement CV rubber boots private versus agents:
Phone the Toyota agents this morning asking the price for the 2004 2.7 Hilux front CV rubber boot ........R1188 each x 4 = R 4752.00 without installation!!!!!! And they do not have stock????
Price for a replacement boot at Centurion auto parts is R80 each x 4 R320.00. Not an easy job to replace seeing that the split boot rubber is apparently not available anymore. Called a few guys and the CV Centre in Centurion are doing both sides tomorrow inner and outer for R950.00 total price!!!
Will give feedback tomorrow.

Thanks Andre.
Sjoh. There's a big difference between Toyota and doing it Private.
Does any body know of a CV Centre in the Cape Town area?
