New door rubbers for SFA
I replaced the old door rubbers with the ones you buy off the shelf (place in Boksburg).
They fit real easy - no glue needed.
Blitz is much quieter inside and no wind noise anymore. Cool.

That looks good. Where did you buy and how much did you pay?

Pro Auto rubber in Boksburg, close to the Outdoor Warehouse.
I paid about R950 for all the doors and have some left.

Re: New door rubbers for SFA
I need new window rubbers for the driver's window. Would Pro Auto stock that too or is there somewhere else to look (preferably in Pretoria)? I'm not sure if it's just a general item that most spares places will stock or if I'd need to search for it.

Do you mean the rubber channel that fits into the door frame? That you can get from Pro Auto.Ryperd wrote:I need new window rubbers for the driver's window. For the weather seals that fit up against the glass at the bottom of the window, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=8803&p=172207&hili ... ls#p172207

Re: New door rubbers for SFA
Yup, that's the one! Seems they have an office in Pretoria so I'll check with them. Thanks for the link to the other thread. The weather seals are still fine, but good to know about options when they need replacing!niclemaitre wrote:Do you mean the rubber channel that fits into the door frame? Re: New door rubbers for SFA
Quick question, these rubbers you installed, are they used in conjunction with the existing rubbers fitted to the doors themselves? Or are those removed?
I would like to do something similar, but the rubbers on my doors have seen better days, so want to know, do I install these and remove the ones on my doors or replace them and install these?

I think they are used in conjuction with the existing ones, therefor the reason for less wind noise in cabin.Reinart21 wrote:Quick question, these rubbers you installed, are they used in conjunction with the existing rubbers fitted to the doors themselves? Or are those removed?
