BT 50 GEARBOX HELP

Hi guys

i need some help, i recently bought a Mazda BT 50 2011 D/C 3.0 auto model with about 290 000 km on to use for construction purposes .... i know its not a hilux but i need some advise
about a week ago the gearbox started slipping every 300 km or so , come to a complete stop and take off again and it would change gears as normal .. i am to afraid to use it as i don't want to stuff up the box .

any advice because i cannot find a auto box anywhere in SA and to recondition would mean to cough up 28-30 large ....

Might be a stupid thing but the last time I had problems with a auto box slipping the oil level was to low. I would drain the oil and fill it up with some new oil.

Speak to Spencer at Spencer's Gearbox and Diff in Alberton.
He knows Ford Gearboxes well.

Hope its something small... Don't want to pay that ridiculous amount and its just something small... other wise ill just sell the thing.... but it drives so nice
