ABS Light comes on

Post by Woesman »

Good day.

I've been having trouble with my 2001 Hilux. Ever since I had the CV boot replaced, the ABS light comes on when I drive :frustrated: . ABS seems to work fine. Have somebody experienced this? Where is the best place to have it checked out in the Cape Town area.

Thanks in advance

They must have either damaged the ABS sensor, not fitted the wire properly or the sensor is dirty.

Phone Francois at 4xLux 021-982-8232 he will be able to sort it out.

Hanlo, go see Francois at 4xLux. It could also be a collapsed rear wheel bearing that has now chewed up your abs rotor and sensor. I unfortunately speak from experience.

Francois sorted my problems.
