Load Hog helper springs
I would appreciate a bit of feedback on Load Hog helper springs, has anyone installed it and does it really help with stabbility and is there any positives/negatives when going offroad. I.ve read that it can also cause main spring pack failure, any truth in that?

Re: Load Hog helper springs
I also heard that it breaks the springs.
Also look at Super Springs, this one does not influence the articulation and cannot break the main pack.

For a bit more you could put in something proper and adjustable to suit your load. Loving the set that is currently on my bakkie.

Had a set of these loadhoggs on1994 hilux d/c 2.4P & experienced no negativity. I also fitted an extra main blade. Fully loaded the truck drove like a Merc & was very comfortable.

Thanks for the feedback. Only thing I'm still not sure of is if articulation might be compromised

Re: Load Hog helper springs
I install a set on every work vehicle that I buy. I have even started installing them on my own vehicles. It is all about how you adjust it, maintain it and set it according to your needs. If you set it up for heavy loads, you will feel the difference when you remove the load.
The ultimate is to find the sweet spot. This can take a while of driving with and whitout a load. I have 5 sets that has been on our vehicles for more that 10 years and the only thing that failed was the treads on 2 u bolts due to it being removed without cleaning it when we sold the vehicle.
Golden rule, do not overtighten it in the begining and check your nuts and u bolts once a year.
Between 5 sets that we have installed, we remove them when we trade vehicles and fit them again on the new vehicles if we can, we have done close to 700 000km on them. No failure yet. The only problem we had was on a Colt clubcab where it was set to tight and the ABS activated too soon.

Re: Load Hog helper springs
Hallo daar. Deon het vraag gevra oor die Load hog helper spring. Pieter verwys dan na Super spring, waar ek die video gesien het. Edge gebruik die LHHS sonder probleme en dan sê Riaan hy gebruik baie van hulle sonder probleme. Eerste vraag is, watter soort gebruik Riaan waaroor hy baie tevrede is. Tweede een is, die prys van Super spring by Direct 4x4 vir R2345-00 - is dit vir een of vir paar. Baie dankie.

Die supersprings is per stel. Ek het hulle self op my bakkie. Werk baie goed. Wat die superspring anders maak is dat hy die volle lente is van jou bladvere. Hy versprei dis die krag van die gewig eweredig oor jou bestaande vere.
As jy nie vrag dra nie ry hy glad nie stamperig of hard nie.

Jy gaan dit self moet opsit. Dis baie maklik. Dankie
