2003 Hilux Rear Window

Post by JAMES399 »

The rear window in my '03 Hilux DCSB needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if the rear window for a 1st Gen Tacoma is the same size ?? I know for a fact that the door glass is slightly different on a Taco vs Hilux. I figured since I have to replace it, I would go with a sliding rear window, and there are a lot of Tacoma sliders out there for cheap. Can't find a Hilux slider anywhere. Anyone know for certain if the Hilux and Taco rear glass are the same size??

We never got the Tacoma here James, nor anywhere in Africa as far as I know. So it's very unlikely that any of our local boys would know either. With a bit of luck someone in your neck of the woods or even some parts of Europe (I think their Tacoma was different from the US models) where there is an overlap between the Hilux and Tacoma, has had the same question and could advise. Body repair shop guys might be savvy on this question as well, I would ask around.

Good luck. :winkx:
