We camped close to the sea for a few months and the Hilux was stationary with the Camper on it.
It got very wet with sea mist running down all over most evenings.
The central locking has stopped working as has the clock, radio, alarm indication, dome light.
The engines goes like a dream, lights work 4x4 light works.
All the warning lights on the instrument cluster work.
The electric windows work plus most of the other functions.
I have checked all the fuses, pushed and pulled all the plugs I can get to.
Checked the earths in the kick panels.
Taken the integration relay out and don't see any problems.
I hear relays operating when I use the remote.
I have checked on the wiring diagrams and some functions work off the same fuse feeding ones that don't work.
I suspect that I have 2 x different problems.
1. Damp in the drivers door for the central locking - I will have to remove the door panel to get there.
2. No idea for the radio, clock, interior light.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Although the fuse has not blown, the contact points have most probably corroded. Did you remove the fuse and check that the contact points are still good? Spraying the fuse box contacts with a good Contact Spray / Switch Cleaner (not WD40) might be a good thing to try.

Possibly the lock mechanism now has rusted together?

Re: 2002 IFS S/C 2,7i Electrical Problems
After getting the hang of the wiring diagrams, I traced power to the Plug 1J on the rear of the Fuse unit under RHS side of dash. If I bridge across the output - incoming B-Y to outgoing B-Y, everything works.
It appears that the Integration Relay is faulty. My understanding is that it puts logic to a whole bunch of functions - i.e. central locking only works when doors are closed etc.
I am going to see if I can get one from a local scrapyard - I was advised not to because of price and no comebacks.
I contacted Toyota - no stock in SA and last piece = R 3 500.
I checked on Toyo site and USD 229 excl. postage so a no brainer.
I have refitted the Integration relay and bridged the 2 x B - Y wires and everything appears to be working.
I checked standing drain on the battery with/without bridge and remains at 65mA.
Only issue is that doors lock on remote whether open or closed.
All other functions - alarm, clock interior light etc, appear normal. Time will tell.
