Hilux LN65 steering box loose
Hi all, the steering on my Hilux seems to recently have developed more than usual play in it. It is a non power steering unit. the adjusting screw is also at its max. Does anyone have experience with the components inside wearing out. Find it hard to believe they would as those components are always in oil and not fast moving. would it be possible to refurbish this unit? or will i have to look for a second hand one?Do certain cruiser models share the same steering unit as this hilux? Already know its going to be a challenge to find a replacement if needed.

Check your tie rod ends for play if you haven't already.

Did you check the steering drag link. The balls and half moon cubs wear out.
