Aisin free wheel hub springs

Post by niclemaitre »

Hi all

Long story short, my 1999 IFS Hilux is missing the springs from the free wheel hub assembly.

Specifically the Clutch Spring and the Connecting Spring

Does anyone have any lying around, maybe in a broken hub?

Thanks in advance!
Happy trails

A long shot, but maybe try the Suzuki dealers. The SJ 410/413 had identical hubs, as well as many other common parts.

@dax021 "A long shot, but maybe try the Suzuki dealers. The SJ 410/413 had identical hubs,"
Do you know if they have the same spline count, should be if they are identical?

I see one get auto hubs for the Suzuki and I've been looking for auto hubs for the Hilux a long time.

I don't think the spline counts are the same, at least that's what I've read

I see one get auto hubs for the Suzuki and I've been looking for auto hubs for the Hilux a long time.
So it seems that other than the spline counts, the internals are identical, so in theory, it should be possible to get the Sukuzi auto hubs and just swap out the splined coupler with the Hilux one.

Sorry for the belated reply, I haven't been following this thread for a few days. I have no idea about the splines or internals, my comment was made purely by visual comparison with the vehicles next to each other. Hope I haven't caused confusion.
