Ja if someone runs a gennie anywhere where I camp it would go dead quiet very quickly after adding some sugerwater (more sugar then water) to the fuel tank.

That is one thing I hate is people bringing everything from the lazyboy to the DSTV when camping and disturbing their fellow campers with the nise these home comforts generate (pun in 10 did)

When we stopped to camp on the mountain the other night at RDW their was some youngster doing the trail with us (not members here) and they drove past the rest of us at "Man of Muis" to go and search out the best camp sites for themselves. So when we arrived at the camp their music was going full volume. I was already upset as they were so rude and jsut started preparing myself for a fight. But before I could even park the Pajero nice and level so you do not roll to one side in the RTT, Charmaine already walked over to go and get them to turn it down. She told them that when we camp we want peace and quiet. They got such a freight from this kwaai antie that they went to bed at about 10 and some of us older folk here were the noisy bunch staying up till way past midnight bothering the youngsters

Hi guys, missed you yesterday .... never even logged on. Had to spend some time with the family to keep the peace (or would that be 'keep the piece' :D ). I see Ben got in a late night (well sort of) yesterday. :D
Ja if someone runs a gennie anywhere where I camp it would go dead quiet very quickly after adding some sugerwater
It was just a thought and the idea was more during the day when you are camped. I'm all for a nice peaceful night under the stars. When you take it all in (including the faint night sounds) it makes me feel more alive than if there were a moerse party going on.
