Re: Late night/early morning crew
Hi Niel, ja, just been outside for a breath of fresh air ..... they just raised their heads, saw it was me and went back to dozing. Thing is that they don't bark for nothing, so I was a little concerned, but just a little. With those brutes keeping watch I don't even bother to lock the vehicles and I prefer sleeping without closed windows.
When your road comes to an end ...... you need a HILUX!.
Life is like a jar of Jalapeño peppers ... what you do today, might burn your ass tomorrow.
Don't take life too seriously ..... no-one gets out alive.
It's not about waiting for storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.
And be yourself ..... everyone else is taken!

A glass or two of "Work Isolating Neutraliser Extract" should make the eyelids a little heavier!
Yeah, that's a long drive ...... did it there and back in one hit from here .... just stopped over at Eric for a bit (a bit of a detour on the way up), and then at Cassie for a short visit before heading home. Can't remember exactly, but it was over 30 hrs on the road. Needless to say I slept for a lot more than my customary 5 - 6 hrs after that.
Val, it's obvious that the support for you is overwhelming and I happen to think it's richly deserved. Your enthusiasm for the forum and the whole 4x4 scene cannot be ignored. Well done and congrats again! The WC can only benefit (more than it already does) from your involvement.

Ja, never have had need for an alarm in the last couple of decades .... biological clock, whatever.
Funny that I started getting geared for work and then only realised it was Sunday! (probably because some of the things I normally do on Sunday I did yesterday. :? )
